Neranjara : Home

To make better use of my VPS at HostMySite.com I am planning a migration of my development environment to the new VPS.

I plan on Setting up Postfix+Courier-IMAP, to host mail for neranjara.org so hopefully I can get a tutorial up on that soon.

Once development has been transitioned to the VPS, I plan on installing Fedora, or CentOS on my workstation at home, to have a higher level of compatibility between the servers I administer and the environment that I use on a daily basis.

Then once I am satisfied with the way things are configured on the new VPS, I may migrate the live site to the VPS, and bring development back to my home workstation. This way I can finally implement a ticketing system using PHP's IMAP functions, which are unavailable in our shared environment.

Long winded I know, but you gotta plan these things out ;)

I hosed my VPS, trying to figure out a compile time error.

The good thing about it is it's a VPS, and was really easy to fix. Just reinstalled the OS template from the management interface, and started her back up.

I've got a new VPS.

Looking into learning, Apache Geronimo so expect to see some Java stuff soon.

I made a new tool to view HTTP Header information a bit more easily.

Oh and this little bugger, a Reverse DNS tool.
